What you get, what it costs, and why
We keep this page plain on purpose. If pricing is hard to find on a marketing page, the business has usually learned that the price is hard to defend. That isn't our problem here.
Here's what you're actually paying for. Most "local SEO" services optimize for Google and call it done — which covers roughly a quarter of where therapy clients actually look in 2026. We build your practice to be findable across Google, Google Maps, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overview, plus the therapy directory ecosystem. The work compounds: each month of signal density makes your visibility on the next platform update cheaper to maintain, not more expensive.
The $850 upfront is the foundation. The $150/month is the ongoing work that compounds into a discovery advantage competitors can't easily replicate. This page explains what goes into each.
Onboarding — $850 one-time
Everything that has to happen once, upfront, to make you findable. You pay this once. The outcome is yours to keep — even if you leave us the next day.
- A professional website built for your practice. Mobile-friendly, fast, designed to convert visitors into consultation requests. Not a design showpiece — a working tool.
- Google Business Profile setup and optimization. The single biggest lever in local search — and one of the foundational sources AI platforms cross-reference when deciding whether to recommend a practice. Categories, services, hours, photos, service area, messaging, the whole thing.
- Location and service pages. "Anxiety therapy in Tacoma," "couples counseling in University Place," and similar pages for every service you offer and every neighborhood you serve.
- Initial citation building. Consistent listings on therapy-relevant directories — GoodTherapy, TherapyDen, Healthgrades, Yelp, Better Business Bureau, and others that matter for local search.
- Technical SEO foundation. Schema markup, sitemap, page speed, mobile usability, internal linking structure. The stuff search engines care about but clients never see.
- AI-platform optimization foundation. Structured data (schema markup), llms.txt, specialty-specific pages, and citation consistency across the signals ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overview use when generating recommendations. Most of the same work that helps Google — done with AI cross-referencing in mind.
Ongoing — $150 per month
Local SEO is not a "set it and forget it" project. Rankings move, competitors update their profiles, directories change, Google changes. This is the work that keeps you found month after month.
- Monthly content. Blog posts targeting the terms your potential clients actually search — not keyword-stuffed filler, but honest writing that demonstrates your expertise and answers the questions people are asking.
- Google Business Profile management. Weekly posts, review responses, photo uploads, holiday hours, new service additions. The profile stays active and signals to Google that you're a real, running practice.
- Citation monitoring and cleanup. Directories break, phone numbers get mistyped, old listings surface. We catch and fix these before they hurt your rankings.
- Search ranking reports. A monthly email showing where you rank for the searches that matter, how many people visited your site, and how your Google Business Profile is performing.
- Ongoing optimization. Search algorithms evolve — and AI platforms update their retrieval systems and source weightings independently of Google. When something changes, on any platform, we adapt your site and profile so you don't lose ground.
- AI visibility monitoring. Monthly checks on whether ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overview recommend your practice for the specialty and location queries that matter. When a platform stops surfacing you, we see it and fix the signal before it costs you inquiries.
The honest version
Our pricing is simple because we think you deserve to know exactly what you're paying for.
Most of our work happens upfront — building your website, setting up your Google Business Profile, and making sure the foundation is right. That's the $850 onboarding fee.
After that, we maintain your site, publish content, manage your online presence, and strengthen your visibility in search results over time. That's $150 a month, no contract.
Honest expectation-setting: local discovery optimization is a compounding process. Google rewards time-in-index; AI platforms reward the density and consistency of signals about your practice across the web. Both take months to mature. Most of our clients see meaningful new client inquiries starting around months 4–6. After that, the returns grow. Our goal is for your $150 a month to generate $1,500 to $3,000 a month in new client revenue within the first year. That number typically increases over time as your discovery presence strengthens.
We also limit the number of therapists we work with in each area. If you're our client in Tacoma for anxiety therapy, we won't take another anxiety therapist in Tacoma. Your investment works for you, not against you. That's a commitment we put in writing.
Common questions
What if I already have a website?
We'll audit it. If it's working, we optimize it. If it needs replacing, we build you a new one. Either way, the onboarding fee is the same, because the Google Business Profile, citations, and SEO work are the same regardless.
What if I want to cancel?
Cancel anytime. No contracts, no cancellation fees. We keep clients by delivering results, not by locking them in. If we're not earning the $150 a month, you should be able to leave and take the work with you.
What if I'm online-only?
Our services are designed for therapists with a physical office who want to be found by local clients. If you practice exclusively online, we may not be the right fit — but feel free to reach out and we'll give you honest advice. We'd rather send you somewhere useful than take your money for work that won't pay off.
How do I know it's working?
Monthly reports showing your search rankings, website traffic, and Google Business Profile performance. We show you the numbers, not just promises. If the numbers are bad, the report will say so, and we'll tell you what we're doing about it.
Do you work with therapists outside the Tacoma area?
Yes. We're expanding to new areas. Because of our geographic exclusivity policy, availability depends on whether we already have a client in your area. Check if your area is available.
Will I own my website if I leave?
Yes. You own your domain, your Google Business Profile, your content, and your site files. If you decide to work with someone else, we'll hand everything over cleanly. We think the idea of "holding a client's website hostage" is gross, and we don't do it.
Why not just pay for Google Ads instead?
You can, and it might be worth testing. But ads stop the moment you stop paying, and therapist cost-per-click in major cities can be $8–$15. Organic rankings, once built, keep bringing you new clients without per-click fees. Most of our clients eventually do both — but the SEO foundation is what makes the ads more efficient.
How is this different from "SEO"?
"SEO" traditionally means Google optimization. We still do that — and well. But since 2024, clients increasingly find therapists through ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overview, each of which uses different signals to recommend providers. Our work covers all of those surfaces, plus the directory ecosystem and Google Maps. We call the broader scope "local discovery optimization" because "SEO" now describes about a quarter of it.
